Nutfield Weaver is delighted to learn that the Londonderry Times has requested an interview with me to discuss weaving in Londonderry. I'm so pleased to be a part of the weaving tradition in this part of New England. Early colonists raised flax and wool and wove the yarns from these fibers into functional fabrics. There is so much history to learn about here!

Lots of weaving today on the black lace, which is nearly completed. Also did a lot of experimenting with ribbon flowers and glass beads. Next project: a handwoven lace covered guest book!

Be well, Kate
